Plot Synopsis
Based on the novel by John B. Keane. In 1939 Ireland, a young man, fed up with the low prices set by a local cattle merchant, persuades his neighbors to take their herds 40 miles to the next county. The drovers set off, along with the lad's colorful Aunt who brings her wit and wisdom to the cattle drive.
