Plot Synopsis

Based on the novel ''Thunderwith'' by Libby Hathorn. A poor but proud family, raising palm trees on a plantation in the Australian outback, face added problems when the husband's teenage daughter from a previous marriage comes to live with them. Her presence sparks family confrontations especially with her jealous half sister and her moody, distant stepmother. While dad is off on business, adversity strikes the family which eventually forces the family to bond.
