Plot Synopsis
In the 1890's a wealthy, artistically accomplished spinster spends the summer at a posh Sarasota Springs, New York resort. She is unexpectedly reunited with an old lover who has returned from the West where he made his fortune and whom she let slip away twenty years earlier. Their love affair is further complicated by two summer visitors who become intertwined in their complex lives and loves.
