Plot Synopsis
Based on the novels '' The Face on the Milk Carton'' and ''Whatever Happened to Janie'' by Caroline B. Cooney. A 16 year old girl sees herself at age three on a milk carton. She discovers she was kidnapped 13 years earlier by a disturbed cult member who gave the child to her unsuspecting parents to raise when she fled for parts unknown. The anguished teen eventually finds her natural parents who are determined to win her love. She tries to adapt to her ''new'' family but her emotional ties are too strong for her adoptive parents that she eventually chooses to return to their loving home.
