Plot Synopsis
Based on the novel by LaVyrle Spencer. After the death of her police officer son, a widow begins a romance with his best friend. Despite their age difference the couple's relationship deepens, much to the dislike of her college age daughter who has designs on the young man herself, and his family who thinks the liaison is improper. But in the end...love conquers all.
