Plot Synopsis
During the height of the depression a racist white sharecropper abandons his 10 year-old son. The boy is then taken in by a poor black farmer who lost his own son to a lynch mob. Together they learn to understand the roots of hatred and bigotry and forge and everlasting bond of trust and love.
