Plot Synopsis
In 1982,Alabama widow Nancy Conn is savagely attacked and her cousin murdered by a demented college student. Left frightened and angry, she is pursued by her tormentor when he gets out of jail due to bureaucratic and administrative bungling. Vowing to fight back, she becomes a leader in the victims rights movement, and forces the state to make legislative changes in parole hearings, to keep violent killers behind bars.
