Plot Synopsis

Teenager Alex Chivescu dreams of going to Harvard University but most overcome many obstacles when his mother, his only parent, is in a terrible accident that leaves her mentally unstable and unable to care for him. He is placed in the revolving door of the foster care system. When his transportation funding ends, he discovers he's about to be assigned to a foster family outside the school district that can provide stability and a curriculum that can get him into an Harvard. He is left with only one option: in order to avoid being assigned outside the high school he loves, he must find a new mom and dad. After reading his passionate plea to find a new family, a loving couple steps forward to offer him the family he desperately needs. With their love and support he achieves his dream of being accepted to Harvard.
