Plot Synopsis
Based on the book ''Sorrow Floats'' by Tim Sandlin. An alcoholic woman meets up with two recovering alcoholic men who are about to set off on a cross-country trip. She joins them, hoping to retrieve her child who has been taken away from her and placed with her estranged husband. During the trip the trio help each other confront long held resentments, disabling guilt and deep seated emotional wounds.
