Plot Synopsis

The devoted wife of a successful Manhattan journalist finds that her husband has little time for her and their young daughter as his career advances. As he becomes increasingly arrogant and dismissive she becomes depressed and resentful. The couple suffer through a bitter divorce but after many years and an unexpected terminal illness they eventually realize that they still share a strong emotional connection.
