Plot Synopsis

A free spirited artist becomes romantically involved with her best friend's 18 year old son, a young man more than half her age. When his mother discovers the liaison, she goes ballistic but the two lovers continue the relationship. They move in together but the arrangement falters when the older woman sadly realizes that the two of them are not ready for the consequences of a long term commitment. He returns to his family and she moves back to New York.
