Plot Synopsis

Based on the novels by Suzi Weinert and the seventh installment in the "Garage Sale Mystery" TV movie franchise. Jennifer Shannon is a garage sale shopping expert whose sharp observation skills allow her to uncover valuable antiques, as well as help her local police department investigate crimes and solve mysteries. While arranging a charity garage sale event she finds a body in the attic of a local residence. At first, Jennifer, working alongside Detective Frank Lynwood, determines that the cause of death was an accidental fall. But when she learns that the victim was trying to call 911, she begins to suspect foul play. Though Lynwood remains convinced the fatality was an accident, she decides to investigate on her own, questioning key suspects, including Tina Parsons, an art appraiser and close friend of the deceased. Before long, Jennifer discovers that a few antique items were once stolen from the house where the incident occurred and that Detective Lynwood suspects the family's former handyman is the thief. But when he produces a solid alibi proving his innocence and further examination of the crime scene confirms the death was a homicide, Jennifer realizes there is still a killer at large. She soon receives an urgent voicemail from Tina, pleading for her immediate assistance. When she responds, she finds Tina shot and left for dead and herself standing face-to-face with the killer.
