Plot Synopsis

In 1934 Britain, eccentric statesman Winston Churchill finds himself a policitcal pariah after his denunciation of the Indian independence movement. He slowly regains his prominence when he goes to daring lengths to warn the British people of the threat posed by Adolf Hitler and the Nazi regime. His extraordinary return from the brink of political obscurity caused strain in his marriage and private life but he eventually reemerged as a leader and hero who led his nation during the dark days of WWll.
