Plot Synopsis

The second Hallmark movie based on the Goodwink series of books by Squire Rushnell and Louise DuArt. Alice Marina manages her family's store in Minneapolis, and is facing a new challenge as the Marinas, a big, loud, loving family, decide to expand the store and take over the empty space next door. Alice loves her family and the store,but she's just not certain that managing a store for the rest of her life is really following her professional dream. When a number of coincidences and a chance meeting bring Alice and Jack Totah, two strangers from very different family backgrounds, together for a weekend wedding celebration, they strike up a friendship though neither is remotely in the market for a relationship. Throughout the Christmas season, Alice is encouraged by her big, loud, loving and supportive family to slowly let go of her reservations about meeting someone new. As she experiences more Godwinks - those coincidences that aren't really coincidences at all - Alice and Jack are brought closer together as each one attempts to balance the newfound attraction with their complicated professional lives. What follows is a completely unexpected Christmastime courtship filled with personal revelations, misread signals, and a very real health scare that will either destroy or strengthen the budding romance.
