Plot Synopsis

After moving her family to Reno for a new job as charity fundraiser a middle-aged woman finds herself drawn to the casinos. At first she gambles just for fun but she soon becomes obsessed. Even though she loses thousand of dollars she is unable to resist the temptation of that elusive big win. She begins embezzling money from her job and pawning her family's belongings. As her marriage crumbles and she is eventually convicted for stealing she finally faces the consequences of her addiction.
