Plot Synopsis
Based on the book ''The Awakening'' by Kate Chopin. In the 1800's, a New Orleans socialite's flirtation while vacationing off the Louisiana coast leads to new self-awareness and conflict with her traditional role, resulting in the disintegration of her marriage, her disgrace and eventual suicide.
