Plot Synopsis

When 17-year-old Traci is lured into claiming that a teacher sexually assaulted her friend, Devon, she makes the mistake of lying to support the girl's story. When the teacher is fired and then commits suicide, she is consumed with guilt. The stress is more than she can handle and then discovers Devon just used her to get the innocent teacher fired. Incredibly distraught and unable to tell her mother, who is dealing with her father's recent heart attack, Traci befriends and confides in June, a substitute teacher who's more connected to the scam than she realizes. When June takes action, Devon hatches a plan that puts both of them in danger.
