Plot Synopsis
Based on the play by Horton Foote. In the mid 1930's a small town Texas family faces betrayal, sibling rivalry and despair when two of the brothers involve themselves in local politics. When one their wives' extramarital affair is uncovered and one of their children is drowned in an accident ,the family is irreparably torn apart.
