Plot Synopsis

Third installment in the Hailey Dean mystery franchise based on characters from Nancy Grace's series of Hailey Dean mystery books. After learning that a family friend's daughter has gone mysteriously missing, therapist and former prosecutor Hailey Dean is on the case. She learns that the missing woman, Miranda, had been using a popular dating app and heads to the app's headquarters with Detective Fincher Garland to investigate. Neither the owner, nor his business partner, agrees to reveal any of the app's records, but an assistant shares Miranda's last known whereabouts. Hailey and her boyfriend Jonas follow this lead until they find Miranda's body off of a favorite hiking trail. The autopsy results tie this case to six other missing women, one of whom had been found dead off of the very same trail where Miranda was found. Hailey soon realizes all six women who went missing were using the same dating app. With the help of her friend Sabrina, she creates a dating profile to track down the men who went on dates with Miranda. When Sabrina goes missing, Hailey focuses all of her energy to finding a killer match before time runs out for her friend.
