Plot Synopsis

Based on the books by Louise Fitzhugh. Harriet "The Spy" Welsch vies to become the official blogger of her high-school class. Willing to do whatever it takes to earn the coveted position, she competes against her arch nemesis, popular student Marion Hawthorne. When her movie-producer father signs on to produce the sequel to the hottest teen musical, she knows her inside scoops will be a perfect opportunity to win over her classmates. Despite her disdain for the movie and its star, teen heartthrob Skander Hill, she embarks on a mission to spy on him and turn his every misstep into fodder for her online postings. But when her blog entries begin to take on a life of their own, it's up to her to set the record straight before she unwittingly brings down her father's film and Skander's career.
