Plot Synopsis
In 1864, Charleston, S.C., a secret weapon-the first submersible vessel-is the last hope for the Confederates to break the Union's blockade. Although previous attempts to use the sub failed, a brave lieutenant steps forward to lead a team of dedicated volunteers. The ''Hunley'' becomes the worlds first submarine to sink an enemy ship, through tragically killing all on board.
