Plot Synopsis
Remake of Rod Serling's 1960 script. In 1943 Poland, a Jewish Rabbi and his two grown children endure physical, emotional and spiritual turmoil as they struggle to survive during the last week prior to the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. A young, patriotic Nazi Sergeant, guilty about his complicity in rounding up and torturing Jews, returns to the ghetto to plead forgiveness. He offers to help the Rabbi's daughter, whom he has feelings for, escape to freedom in a dangerous journey through the sewers of the city.
