Plot Synopsis

An angry teen is given the option by his school principal to either take a job as a handyman for an old woman the community considers a little crazy or be expelled. He soon begins work for Mrs. Ritchie who believes her garden contains the enchanted spirit of her dead husband. Along with her two mentally disabled boys, the eccentric widow takes the troubled boy on a journey through the harvest season in her backyard where friendship and trust are built and the young man learns invaluable life lessons.
