Plot Synopsis
In 1983, parents of children attending the McMartin Preschool in Manhattan Beach, CA. accuse the owners and teachers of sexually abusing their children. Spurred on by media hysteria, the case spins out of control with claims of Satanism and animal torture. Videotaped interviews of the kids by an inexperienced social worker are the deputy D.A.'s strongest weapon against the seven defendants. A seven year legal battle ensues with the trial ultimately ending in a deadlock and dismissal of all charges.
