Plot Synopsis

Jake and Ethan are brothers trying to keep their parents' failing gas station from going under. When a Russian satellite dislodges from orbit and crashes into the middle of a nearby field, they quickly sell it to a friend at the scrap yard. But unbeknownst to all, the satellite carries a deadly secret -- a mysterious alien substance that acts of its own volition. And when the satellite wreckage attaches itself to a giant sculpture, the substance brings the sculpture to life, creating an iron monster with only one goal -- to survive at any cost. It's not long before dead bodies start showing up all over the county as the metal creature goes from victim to victim. As more and more townspeople fall prey to the deadly creature, a rag tag group of survivors must come to terms with the monster and figure out how to destroy it before there's no one left to save. They eventually make a startling discovery, but will it be enough to defeat the monster once and for all?
