Plot Synopsis
In 1917, radical feminists Alice Paul and Lucy Barnes cause a schism inside the mainstream suffrage movement with their militant politics. They picketed the Wilson White House and were soon arrested. Brutally forced-fed in prison when they staged a hunger-strike caused public outcry over their treatment and forced the President to support voting rights for women.
