Plot Synopsis
Tricking his selfish, older twin brother out of his birthright and inheritance Jacob flees when his brother promises to kill him. On his journey to see his uncle he is visited by God and shown the ladder to salvation. When he reaches his uncle's land he falls in love with his cousin Rachel. Because he is blessed by God, his uncle tricks him into staying by double crossing him. He eventually pays his debts and mends fences with his brother and settles his own land known as Israel.
