Plot Synopsis

Fifth TV Movie in the Jesse Stone franchise. Based on the books by Robert B. Parker. Paradise, Mass. Police Chief Jesse Stone finds himself in trouble with the Town Council when he inadvertently becomes involved in a shoot-out on a Boston street. He is soon under investigation by the Boston Police Internal Affairs Division, which causes him to be way from his job in Paradise for extended periods of time. He further alienates the Council by agreeing to take the case of a celebrated visitor who shows up in search of her missing child and by firing the department's most prodigious ticket writer, resulting in lost revenue.
