Plot Synopsis

Poor Meg Murphy, her family has been magically cursed with "Murphy's Law," a spell of never-ending bad luck. They're getting sick and tired of all the slips, trips, falls, explosions, and general bad luck that's befallen them their entire lives. While spending the summer at her grandpa's house, she develops a friendship with a local cutie named Brett. The possibility of romance probes her to discover the way to break the family's "if anything can go wrong, it will" curse. She and her daredevil little brother, Charlie, set off on a calamity-filled adventure to break the 100-year-old jinx and turn their family's luck around -- with the hopes of giving them all the normal life they've always dreamed of living.
