Plot Synopsis
NY Yankees manager who triumphed over personal and professional obstacles to lead his team to the 1996 Baseball World Championship. During the baseball season his brother Frank hid his heart condition so Joe wouldn't be distracted from the game. As the team gets closer to the world series, he learns Frank needs a transplant. The operation is a success and Joe realizes his 40 year dream of winning the series.
