Plot Synopsis
Social worker Ginny Moore, faces a legal battle when she seeks to become the guardian of a Down syndrome teenager who has been institutionalized since infancy and in the need of a heart operation. Blocking her attempts are the boy's selfish parents who forbid Ginny and her husband to have any contact with their son. The court ultimately finds ''in the best interest of the child'' and awards guardianship to the loving Moore family.
