Plot Synopsis
A single mother, who is working as a waitress, quits her low wage job to go work in the coal mines. Needing more money to care for her sick father she gets a higher paying at the local mine but must endure endless harassment and scorn from the men. Even though the town is against her, she hold her head high and refuses to be oppressed.
