Plot Synopsis

Under the cover of darkness, scientists from Wexel Pharmaceuticals conduct a mysterious genetic experiment involving the Blood Orchid Serum within the confines of the Black Lake National Wildlife Refuge. Something goes horribly wrong and one of the Black Lake crocs attacks Wexel's mobile lab unit. The scientists are killed. Only the head of Wexel Corporate Security, a mercenary named Beach, and Jim Bickerman escape with their lives, but not before crashing the mobile lab allowing the escape of not only Black Lake crocodiles, but also the payload of genetically modified giant anacondas. Meanwhile, at the nearby Clear Lake, a group of sorority pledges that includes Lindsey, daughter of Fish & Wildlife officer Philip Tully, begin a sorority weekend filled with pranks and hazing. When a dare leads the girls to strip down and enter the water, Lindsey and the pledges learn that Clear Lake is now infested with killer crocodiles and giant anacondas. Reba, the new Aroostook Country Sheriff, teams up with Phil Tully to save the girls and stop the deadly reptiles. Everything escalates when Sarah Murdoch, CEO of Wexel, Beach, and Jim Bickerman return to the lake to capture or kill the anacondas and cover their tracks. Eventually finding his daughter and the other surviving sorority pledges, Phil and the Sheriff, race to get away from Clear Lake but the crocs and the anacondas, now battling each other for control of these new feeding grounds, have other plans. Tully's group encounters Murdoch's team in the forest surrounding the lake. The two groups are forced to work together in a pitched battle to the death against the out of control reptiles. It is a fight only the strongest species will survive.
