Plot Synopsis
Based on the memoir ''Against the Current: As I Remember F. Scott Fitzgerald'' by France Kroll Ring. Follows the final months in the life of famed author F. Scott Fitzgerald as told by Frances Kroll Ring, the young woman who was his secretary at the time. In 1939, Fitzgerald is battling booze,the loss of his institutionalized wife Zelda and a tumultuous relationship with his mistress. With the support and care of his new secretary he is able to begin writing ''The Last Tycoon'', unfortunately, he died before the novel was finished.
