Plot Synopsis
Based on the novel by Philip Margolin. A brilliant criminal defense attorney, who has the skill to keep his dubious clients out of jail, grows disenchanted and demoralized with the legal profession and decides to quit. He soon gets drawn back in when he becomes enmeshed in a torrid love affair with a seductive woman who persuades him to defend her estranged husband against a charge of murder.
