Plot Synopsis

A miner's widow and her teenage son hook up with a wizened old prospector and a determined miner to work an abandoned claim in Canada. Hoping to find silver, they set up camp and begin the hard work. The precious metal is eventually found, fulfilling their wildest dreams... but the charming miner turns out to be a con man, and tries to swindle them all. He eventually gets his comeuppance and all live happily ever after.
