Plot Synopsis

A struggling, blue-collar Midwestern couple find a letter written thirty years ago that indicates the writer was probably murdered. They piece together clues from the note and find that a trio of corrupt businessmen eliminated the woman who ''knew to much''. Deciding to blackmail the conspirators, the amateur swindlers soon find that extortion is not as easy as they had assumed and that they themselves are now the killers' targets.
