Plot Synopsis

A young girl is miserable after the death of her mother and is drifting farther away from her widower father. After reading a book of spells, she becomes obsessed with bringing her mother back to life, but though a series of mystic mishaps, the fashion doll that she was given for her birthday is brought back to life instead. Disgusted that her spell went awry, she begins a frantic search for the spell to reverse the disaster. However, the arrival of this living doll brings love and life back into their home and she and her father find renewed hope in the future.
