Plot Synopsis
Based on the 1869 novel by R.D. Blackmore. In 17th century Britain the aristocratic Doone family rules over the West Country with terror and violence. A young man from a besieged family swears vengeance against the Doones for the murder of his father. When he discovers that the beautiful girl with whom he's fallen in love is a member of the vile clan, he seeks his revenge against the backdrop of warfare and political intrigue.
