Plot Synopsis
Based on the book On This Star by Virginia Sorenson. In 1920 rural Utah, a young woman is engaged to marry a dairy farmer from a large Mormon family. When her fiance's older half-brother, a worldly concert pianist, returns home , she is immediately attracted to him. They fall in love but keep their illicit affair a secret while she goes ahead and marries her intended . During a hunting trip, the young man is accidentally killed by his brother and is forced to leave home when a knowing family member suspects he shot his brother on purpose.
