Plot Synopsis
Based on the book by Yvette Melanson & Claire Safran. A suburban wife and mother receives a call from a Navajo woman who claims to be her sister. After discovering she was adopted, she travels to Arizona in search of her birth parents. Though her Navajo mother is dead, her father and siblings warmly welcome her to the family. Conflict ensues when she wants her husband and children to relocate to the reservation so she can start to reclaim her lost cultural heritage.
