Plot Synopsis
Interlocking stories set in a black neighborhood where ordinary people succeed against all odds. 1. ''Love Song For a Champ''- An up and coming boxer breaks the rules in order to earn much-needed money for his family. 2.''A Love Song for Jean & Ellis''- A society woman considers a fruit vendor beneath her and refuses his advances until he rescues her after a violent attack. 3. ''A Love Song For Dad''-A father preaches nonviolence to his son while trying to protect his sister-in-law from her abusive husband.
