Plot Synopsis
In 1910 Milwaukee, the bored wife of a wealthy businessman becomes lovers with a teenage boy. In order to conceal their adulterous relationship, she hides him in her attic for twenty years, while she lives downstairs with her stodgy husband. When she takes up with a charismatic lawyer, her jealous lover boy ends the affair with a fatal shot.
