Plot Synopsis
During World War I, A.C. Gilbert, toymaker and inventer of the Erector set, is asked by the government to use his factory to produce munitions and to support a plan for parents to buy war bonds for Christmas instead of toys. After agonizing over what to do he decides the country needs Christmas and helps all Americans redeisocer the joy of the holiday season.
