Plot Synopsis

As the host of her own reality TV show, professional matchmaker Angie Dove delights viewers with her humor, warmth and incredible gift for helping single people find their perfect match. Her keen observational skills and insight into the human heart have never failed her, which makes it all the more unfathomable when her client and friend, Aaron Scheller, is accused of murdering the woman he met and then proposed to on "The MatchMaker." As the daughter of retired detective Nick Colomba, Angie knows a thing or two about solving crimes and decides to launch her own investigation to clear Aaron's name. Indefatigable and clever, she is willing to do whatever it takes to get close to the evidence, suspects and witnesses that are central to her inquiry. In the process, she continuously crosses paths with Kyle Cooper, a by-the-book detective who isn't exactly thrilled to find an amateur sleuth butting into his case. Yet Kyle can't help but admire Angie's smarts and ingenuity, as she gets ever closer to finding the real killer. It may just be that the matchmaker and the cop are the perfect partnership.
