Plot Synopsis
Marvin Lee Aday, Jr. aka Meat Loaf grew up in Dallas overweight and abused by his alcoholic father. Finding solace in acting he begins his career by landing a part in the touring company of ''Hair''. He becomes a superstar in the 1970's when his theatrical rock album ''Bat Out of Hell'' becomes a hit. Personal demons and career-killing professional problems force him into bankruptcy. Twenty years later he reteams with songwriter Jim Steinman and records ''Bat Out of Hell II'' which reestablishes him as a major star.
