Plot Synopsis
In 1979, A cavalier pilot, flying from San Francisco to New Zealand in a well-worn Cessna discovers that after fourteen hours in the air he is hopelessly lost, low on fuel and without navigational tools. A senior pilot on a commercial DC-10, with 88 passengers on board, hears his distress call and diverts from his flight plan to search for the lost flyer and guide him to safety.
