Plot Synopsis

Based on the short story ''Poor Little Innocent Lamb'' by Katherine Paterson. A bitter woman living alone on a small-town farm with only her long-time farmhand finds her quiet existence disrupted when her feisty 9-year-old grandniece, whom see didn't know existed, arrives for an extended stay. Hardened by life's disappointments, she has no interest in the girl. With the help of the determined child and the reappearance of her old beau... her closed heart is ultimately opened to love again.
