Plot Synopsis

Based on the novel ''Atticus'' by Ron Hansen. A gruff widowed Colorado rancher travels to Mexico to claim the body of his troubled artist son with whom he was emotionally estranged. Although his death appears to be an apparent suicide and he feels there is more to the story and launches his own investigation. He soon discovers that his boy is still alive and a group of sleazy con artists who where out to swindle him.
