Plot Synopsis
Returning from a secret mission in 1945, the USS Indianapolis is torpedoed and sunk. The survivors, including Capt. Charles McVay, are left floating 5 days in shark-infested waters. The Navy, embarrassed by the incident, court- martials McVay.
